Technology

The Cabot School District Technology Department is a support agency.  We aim to provide high quality, reliable, integrated, leading-edge equipment and services for students, faculty and staff with the goal of providing equitable access to resources throughout the district.  This allows ALL students expanding opportunities to learn, grow and prepare for an ever changing technologically-based world.  Teachers will have access to updated technology that works to foster that growth.

 

Technology is an integrated part of instruction and in order to prepare our students for tomorrow’s workplace we must give them access.  Students will be expected to discover information for themselves and organize that information in such a manner as to effectively communicate it to others.  Skills identified by community input will be addressed in order to prepare our students to be competitive in the workforce of the future.  Computer literacy is a must for all students and we will plan professional development, purchase of hardware and software, and development of classroom instruction accordingly.
