CHS Students Accepted To AR Boys and Girls State 2025
April 28, 2025

The Cabot School District is proud to recognize the nine Cabot High School students who have been accepted into the Arkansas Boys and Girls State program.
Arkansas Boys and Girls State is an immersive program in civics education designed for high school juniors. Students are chosen based on leadership, character, academic achievement, scholarship, and community participation and service by a committee of teachers and American Legion and Legion Auxiliary representatives. It is an honor to be chosen to attend this program, and the skills they learn will last a lifetime.
At Arkansas Boys and Girls State, delegates become knowledgeable in the democratic process and how our government works at the state and national levels. Each summer, a diverse group of students from around the state participates in this week-long program. They assume roles as government leaders, campaign for their party affiliation, and some will become elected officials at the city and state levels. Delegates are given practical instruction on the duties and responsibilities of both citizens and their elected officials.
We would like to thank the following businesses for supporting our delegates: American Legion Post 71, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary.
AR Boys State and Girls State will be held May 25 - May 30, 2025.
