ATLAS Testing Information for Parents

April 11, 2025

The ATLAS (Arkansas Teaching & Learning Assessment System) is the state’s end-of-year assessment for Arkansas students.

  • Kindergarten through 2nd grade students will be tested in literacy and math.
  • 3rd through 10th grade students will take assessments in English Language Arts (ELA), math, and science (note: there is no 9th grade science test).
  • Students in grades 7–10 who are enrolled in Algebra I, Geometry, or Biology will take end-of-course exams in those subjects.

Per state requirements, all students must participate in ATLAS testing unless they qualify for an alternate assessment.

Testing in the Cabot School District begins April 14, 2025. Each school will share more detailed testing information, so please watch for communication from your child’s campus.

To help your child do their best, please:

  • Make sure they get a good night’s sleep
  • Ensure they arrive at school on time
  • Charge their Chromebook the night before (if it is taken home)

These assessments are aligned with the Arkansas State Standards, and we are confident our students are ready to shine! We are Panther Proud of their hard work and dedication throughout the year.

Parents received their child’s portal code at the beginning of the school year for 23-24 test results. We will receive this year’s scores in the fall.

If you need the code again, please email Pam Wilson at pam.waymack@cps.k12.ar.us. Be sure to include your child’s full name, school, and date of birth, and send the email from the address on file with the district.

Thank you for your continued support!
