Automated Message: No School Monday, February 2
February 1, 2026
This is an automated message from the Cabot School District.
This winter weather has created challenges across the district, and we appreciate the support and cooperation of our families during this extended weather closure.
Each day, district administrators have been out checking road conditions, and our maintenance, custodial, and school staff have been working to prepare campuses so they will be ready to welcome students back as soon as it is safe to do so.
However, due to continued icy and unsafe road conditions across the district, the Cabot School District will be closed Monday, February 2. This marks the sixth consecutive day of closure. We are currently working on how to make up a day without extending the school year. We will share that information as soon as it is finalized.
While main roads are mostly clear, many side streets and neighborhood roads remain icy and slick. These conditions are not safe for our buses, staff, or for student drivers.
All games and activities scheduled for Monday are postponed.
The district will continue to monitor conditions and will provide an update regarding Tuesday as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Stay safe, Panther families.
