Welcome! It is an honor and a privilege to be the principal for the Cabot Freshman Academy. However, I am no stranger to CFA. I have been involved with the Academy since the doors opened in 2014 as an assistant principal. I look forward to continuing the excellence and success we have had over the last four years.

Our #1 goal at CFA is to provide incoming freshman with the foundation they need to succeed at Cabot High School and leave our school with the feeling that they can accomplish anything they set their minds too! Our motto “Graduation Starts Here,” is the foundation for everything our teachers and staff set out to do each and every day! Over the last five years, 99% of our students have ended their experience at CFA by earning all of their credits in math, science, social studies, and English - what an accomplishment! Our students have worked hard to achieve this with the help of our OUTSTANDING faculty, staff, and the support of their parents. We hope to continue this extraordinary feat for years to come!

CFA offers our students a wide variety of classes, clubs, and extracurricular activities for all students. Our extraordinary teachers and staff at CFA work collaboratively with one another to create an environment that promotes high achievement, supports students academically, socially, and personally. Each and every day, we challenge our students to work hard to achieve their dreams and develop the confidence they need to realize that nothing is IMPOSSIBLE!

In the fall of 2017, we introduced a program at CFA called C2G (Commitment to Graduate). This is an intervention/incentive period built into our schedule between 2nd and 3rd period. C2G allows students who need extra help, make-up work time, or just a place to study, the opportunity to meet with a variety of teachers in all four subject areas to obtain the much needed intervention time. We will continue to implement this program this year and in the years to come!

Our success is a team effort. We could not achieve what we have accomplished over the last five years without the help of our parents and community. We look forward to continuing that partnership. Without a doubt, the community of Cabot provides not only the support needed for CFA to be successful, but other schools in our district, as well.

We are looking forward to an outstanding school year and continuing the success of providing students with a top notch educational experience! I look forward to working with you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
