CHS Winter Guard Named Scholastic Regional A Champions!

Congratulations to our Cabot High School Winter Guard for being named Scholastic Regional A Champions!

Our winter guard recently traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma to compete in a regional event hosted by Winter Guard International.

This event included groups from all over the country in varying classes. Out of 10 groups in their class, our students were awarded first place in preliminary performance securing them a place in finals that afternoon.

After finals competition, the team was named the Scholastic Regional A Champions with a score of 82.70. The Cabot School District is extremely proud of their hard work, dedication and passion as artists and performers. This is very difficult to achieve and is a rare honor for the few Arkansas groups that compete at this level.

WGI is an international competitive circuit for winter guard and drumlines that has competitions all over the world and the Cabot Winter Guard is working hard to make a name for itself in the region and nation!

The CHS Winter Guard will have a free public performance "Home Show" on March 17th at 7:30 p.m .in the Cabot High School old gym. They will finish their season with the Arkansas Marching Arts Association Championships at Lake Hamilton High School on April 1st!
