Three Cabot Elementary Schools Receive $109,131.94 In Reward Funds

The Cabot School District is extremely proud of our students, teachers, and staff for being awarded $109,131.94 in School Recognition Program Funds from the Arkansas Department of Education.
The Arkansas School Recognition Program was created to provide financial awards to public schools that experience high student performance, student academic growth, and for secondary schools, high graduation rate. Awards are based on the state required assessment information from the 2023-24 school year.
Three of our elmentary schools will receive a share of the approximately $6.99 million in reward money.
Top 5% Growth/Grad
Ward Central Elementary - $43,882.59
Westside Elementary - $32,935.74
Top 6%-10% Growth/Grad
Central Elementary - $15,847.47
Top 6%-10% Performance
Westside Elementary - $16,466.14
*Westside Elementary received two rewards in performance and growth totaling $49,401.88
GRAND TOTAL: $109,131.94
We applaud our students and staff at Westside Elementary, Ward Central Elementary, and Central Elementary for this great achievement. This is a tremendous acknowledgement to all their hard work and dedication.
We are Panther Proud of all of our schools! We know each and every one of our buildings are working diligently to ensure the overall success of their students last year.
Schools receiving recognition funds are required to establish a committee to determine how to use the funds. In the past, the district has focused on purchasing additional technology, educational equipment, and materials.
