Cabot Sweeps Lonoke County Spelling Bee 2025

It was an o-u-t-s-t-a-n-d-i-n-g night for our Cabot School District students! The Lonoke County Spelling Bee was held January 23, 2025 at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium.

Congratulations to Cabot Middle School South 5th grade student Joshua Oh for capturing 1st place! After 8 rounds, he was crowned champion by spelling "antipathy" correctly.

CJHS 7th grade student Bryleigh Taylor placed 2nd in the county bee. Witten Gonyea, a 5th grade student at Cabot Middle School North, placed 3rd.

Joshua will represent Cabot in the State Spelling Bee which will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Vines Center located at 1 Four-H Way in Little Rock.
