Teacher Appreciation Week

May 5, 2015

May 5th, 2015

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4th to May 8th, 2015.

The Cabot School District employs hundreds of outstanding teachers that work hard every day to make a difference in students' lives.

All week students and administrators are taking the time to recognize these amazing educators for caring, loving and dedicating their time to our children. Teachers have been receiving special surprises and lunches. As a token of their appreciation, the Freshman Academy Student Council even washed cars for teachers.

Superintendent Dr. Tony Thurman has worked in the field of public education for the past 26 years and understands what it takes to be a successful educator. He is very proud of the Cabot School District's staff and appreciates all their hard work.

Cabot School Board President Donna Nash is a retired teacher herself. She spent many years teaching in the Cabot School District. On behalf of the Cabot School Board, Mrs. Nash wants to thank each and every teacher all they do, not just this week, but throughout the year.
