CHS Honor Graduate Luncheon

April 20, 2015

April 20th, 2015

Close to two-hundred honor graduates were recognized at a luncheon Monday. The 2015 Cabot High School Honor Graduate Luncheon was held at First Baptist Church.

Samantha Font was the guest speaker for the event. Font graduated from Cabot High School back in 2005. She graduated third in her class with honors.

Font went on to graduate from the University of Fayetteville with her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Early Childhood Education. Font is currently an interventionist with the Cabot School District.

Font encouraged the seniors to follow and choose their own paths and to not be afraid to chase their own dreams. She also gave them this advice.

*Being smart is not enough
*Find your balance
*Don't rush away your college experience

Currently, 179 Cabot High School Students will graduate with honors. To graduate with honors, a student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled at Cabot High School for two of the last three semesters beginning with the second semester of the junior year.

Thank you to our hosts, the Cabot Chamber of Commerce and Cabot First Baptist Church.
