April 16, 2015

April 16, 2015

Cabot high school students recently competed at the SkillsUSA competition and received high awards and honors.

The SkillsUSA Championships is the showcase for the best career and technical students in the nation. Contests begin locally and continue through the state and national levels.

The philosophy of the Championships is to reward students for excellence, to involve industry in directly evaluating student performance and to keep training relevant to employers' needs.

Congratulations students for the numerous State Champion titles in Medical Professions, Automotive Technology, Criminal Justice, and Construction Technology.  All gold medalists will be competing at the National Competition in June in Louisville KY.

The automotive technology students from Cabot High School competing in motorcycle repair technology received 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in their category and received scholarships from the University of Technical Institute (10,000 1st place, 5,000 second place, and 3,000 3rd place).

Congratulations students!!!
