Arkansas School Business Official of the Year - Tina Wiley

Tina Wiley, Director of Finance for Cabot Public School District, was recently named the Arkansas Association of School Business Officials (AASBO) Truett Goatcher School Business Administrator of the Year. The award was presented to Mrs. Wiley at the AASBO Conference in Little Rock on March 6.

This award is given each year in honor of Truett Goatcher who was a longtime school business official, Arkansas Department of Education staff member, Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators staff member, and a mentor to many.

Mrs. Wiley has been employed by the Cabot Public School District since 2009. She currently serves as a board member and as the Mentoring Support Group Co-Chair for the Arkansas Association of School Business Officials. She was recognized as the AASBO Official of the Year for District I in 2011 and 2013. Mrs. Wiley has also served on the Common Core Standards Guiding Coalition Committee for the Arkansas Department of Education.

Prior to her employment with the Cabot Public School District, Mrs. Wiley spent 16 years as the business manager in the Beebe Public School District. She has been recognized as a Certified Arkansas School Business Official since 1997.
