Hometown Health Poster Contest Winners Recognized

November 21, 2013

Nine students were recognized by the Cabot School Board at the November board meeting for winning the Lonoke County Hometown Health Coalition's Healthy Community Poster Contest.

Students across Lonoke County were asked to create posters demonstrating healthy lifestyle choices. Approximately 1,000 entries were submitted from schools throughout the county. 

 

Students focused on exercise, healthy eating, recycling, and the dangers of tobacco use. The winning posters are featured in the 2014 Lonoke County Hometown Health Coalition calendar.

The following students were recognized as Healthy Community Poster Contest winners:

Magness Creek Elementary - Charla Weatherley
Mountain Spring Elementary - Katie McGloflin
Northside Elementary - Angel Dunkin
Southside Elementary - Kamelia Skinner
Stagecoach Elementary - Bryson Passmore
Ward Central Elementary - Ava Loe
Ward Central Elementary - Jessie Rhodus
Westside Elementary - Honesty London
