CHS Food & Nutrition Students Visit Heifer Village

Cabot High School students from the Food and Nutrition class recently visited Heifer Village to develop a better understanding of nutritional challenges faced by many  people around the world.

The students toured the facility and explored the services offered to communities to enable them to be self-sustaining. 

Whether it is teaching a family how to plant vegetables or providing a goat for milk, students learned how families and communities can be strengthened with the knowledge and support of good nutrition and food sources.
