Medical Professions Class holds Clinic for Kindergarten Students

Sarah Hyden's Medical Professions and Procedures classes from Cabot High School recently visited three elementary schools in the Cabot School District.  Westside, Ward Central and Eastside were among the schools.

Approximately 350 Kindergarten students participated in a Teddy Bear Clinic with nine stations set up for a hands on experience. The stations included hand washing - ways to prevent the spread of infection, eye exam, heart - listened to heart beat with a stethoscope,  hospital coloring book, doctor or nurse hat station , x-ray - looked at an old x-ray and traced a picture, surgery - sewed teddy bears, snack or rest station - juice & gold fish/ animal crackers, and height and weight.
