WWII Survivor Shares Personal Experiences with CHS Students

February 22, 2013

Mrs. Ilsa Nunn spoke Feb. 20 to approximately 50 Cabot High School history and psychology students about her experiences growing up in Germany during World War II.

Nunn discussed the bombings that caused her to fear for her life on many occasions and took the lives of several of her family members.  She encouraged students to educate themselves on the various candidates when voting in order to make good decisions and be active citizens.

This was a unique opportunity for students to hear firsthand from someone who experienced such an influential time in our world's history.
