'Spirit of Carey' Performs for CHS Band

The CHS band had the priviledge of having a mini concert for them on February 4th.  During first and second period, 'Spirit of Carey' from William Carey University of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, performed with songs that were dedicated towards Super Heroes.  'Spirit of Carey' is a high energy marching indoor brass and percussion group that serves as ambassadors for the university. The instrumental music at William Carey is designed to embrace students and their individual goals as musicians while creating an environment that focuses developing the student academically and spiritually.  After the concert, many of the students had the opportunity to talk to 'Spirit of Carey' and received more information about the University.
