HS Track Members Are 2019 "Meet of Champs" Champions

Cabot High School Track had nine athletes recently competed in the 2019 Meet of Champions and several members walk away as Champions!

Congratulations to the following student-athletes.
 

• Girls 4x800m Relay – Champions

Team members Alexa Simpson, Brooklyn Stracener, Olivia Phillips, and Lauren Turner

• Lauren Turner – 800m Champion (Time of 2:15)

• Girls 4x400m Relay – 4th place (Season best by time by 7 seconds – 4:05)

Kylie Hall (62), Alexa Simpson (62), Karis Martin (60.5), and Lauren Turner (59.5)

• Boys 4x800m Relay – 5th place (Season best time of 8:27)

Bryce Johnson, Thomas Jasmin, Braden Leonard, and Cade Puckett

• Parker Benefield – 6th place in Pole Vault (Cleared 14-6)

• Emily Belin – 6th place in Shot Put (35-05)

• Tyler George – 8th place in 300m Hurdles (42.63)

Congratulations to Parker Benefield (pole vault) and Emily Belin (shot put) for being named the 6A Conference Champions and State Runner-Ups!
