Magness Creek Honors Veterans

Earlier this week, Magness Creek honored all the active duty families for a special luncheon on Veteran's Day.  The luncheon included a short word of thanks to military families from Senator Eddie Jo Williams. There was also a program of patriotic songs performed by the 3rd grade.  Also, a reading of a book called, "Love Spots" by two fourth grade students, who are within a military family.  Kelly Whiddon planned the program and all the students helped with red, white, and blue decorations.  The event was catered by CJ's that served approximately 130 people.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the day and expressed many thanks for the activity.
