New Ramen Noodle Bar To Debut at CHS
February 8, 2019
A new menu item will soon make its debut in the Cabot High School cafeteria. A Ramen Noodle Bar launches February 12th and will be available every other Tuesday.
Director of Food Services Erin Wilkes says Cabot High School is the first public school in the state to offer a Ramen Noodle Bar. The idea began when Assistant Principal Adam Koehler visited the Arkansas Heart Hospital Cafe, which has become nationally known for its authentic ramen bowls. Mrs. Wilkes then visited with Tyson Foods and their corporate chef developed recipes that meet our child nutrition requirements.
Students will have several options to choose from including four different meats, six veggies, and two broths. The ramen noodle bowl also comes with a choice of fruit, vegetables, and drink for $2.60.
Several students in the CHS Food and Nutrition class recently had the opportunity to taste test the new menu item!
