CHS Hosts Cabot ShootOut 2019 at CJHS

Cabot High School hosted the 2nd Annual Cabot ShootOut 2019, Saturday, January 26th at Cabot Junior High South.
CHS brought home first place with a score of 3,268 points! CFA is also in the high school division and finished in third place with a team score of 3,126 points! Our two junior highs tied for fourth place with a score of 2,919 points each!
More than 400 archers participated in the tournament, including 28 schools/teams from across the state. With archers and spectators combined, close to 1,000 people enjoyed the tournament action!
This is not the only tournament to be held at Cabot Junior High South. Cabot Archery Program won the bid to host Regionals for the second year running. It will be held on Saturday, February 9th, at CJHS. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is in charge of the Arkansas National Archery in the Schools Program (ANASP), which provides students throughout the state opportunities to learn life skills through programs sponsored in their schools.
