Author Dedicates Book To Magness Creek Library Media Specialist & Students

Library Media Specialist Sara Adkins and students at Magness Creek Elementary received a very special surprise recently. Well-known children's author, Sandra Markle, dedicated her new book, “What if You had T. Rex Teeth?” to Mrs. Adkins and the children at Magness Creek.

Ms. Markle made the announcement to the entire school via skype. She said she dedicated the book to Mrs. Adkins to celebrate all she does each year to make books memorable for the children at Magness Creek Elementary. Mrs. Adkins also announced that with the profits from book fairs, she was able to purchase every family a copy of the book!

Ms. Adkins also received another special surprise. Principal Kelly Bankston and Assistant Principal Kelly Riggs presented her with a Certificate of Appreciation for her love of teaching reading to students.
