May School Board Recognition 2018

May 30, 2018

Two Cabot High School seniors were recognized at the May school board meeting for their academic achievements.

JAG National Smith Scholar

CHS senior Ashtyn Gwatney was selected as one of twenty students to receive a $1,000 Kenneth M. Smith Scholarship from Jobs for America's Graduates.

Only three students from Arkansas were selected for this prestigious honor. Cabot High School's JAG Program is nationally recognized. Congratulations Ashtyn, CHS JAG Specialist Dr. Martha Marshall, and CHS Assistant Principal Nicole Gatewood!

Arkansas Times Academic All-Star

CHS senior Jenny Bond was named an Arkansas Times Academic All-Star. This award honors the best and brightest in the state. Only 20 students are named to the list.

Jenny recently graduated CHS as co-salutatorian. She will be attending Tulane University in New Orleans in the fall where she will double major in Public Health and Molecular Biology.

Congratulations to our two new CHS graduates!
