CMSN Principal Recognized For Making A Difference
December 5, 2017
Cabot Middle School North Principal Dawn Peeples was recently honored with the Charles A. Green Administrator That Makes a Difference Award. The award was presented to Mrs. Peeples at the Arkansas Association of Midddle Level Professionals fall conference in Hot Springs.
Mrs. Peeples has been making a difference in the lives of students for close to two decades. This is her 17th year in education and her fifth year at CMSN.
Winners of this award are seen as visionaries and instructional leaders. They are able to assess the needs and values of the school community and articulate a vision of learning that is supported and implemented by teachers and staff. Honorees also immerse himself/herself in developing, implementing, and supporting new instructional programs.
Mrs. Peeples says this award means the world to her and is even more special because she personally knows Mr. Green. He was a principal when she was a student leader at North Pulaski High School.
She says being honored for her dedication makes all the hard work worth it. Last year, Cabot Middle School North was once again recognized as both a National School To Watch and an Arkansas Diamond School. The recognition is given to schools in Arkansas and across America who continually focus on improvement and student growth.
Congratulations Mrs. Peeples! We are very proud of you!
