Recent CHS Graduate Awarded National High School Rodeo Scholarship

July 26, 2017

Congratulations to recent Cabot High School graduate Julie Hill. Julie was recently awarded a $5,000 scholarship from the National High School Rodeo Foundation.

This is the largest scholarship given by the foundation and Julie is the first person from Arkansas to ever be awarded this honor.

There were 263 seniors from 41 states and three providences that applied, wrote essays, and interviewed for the scholarships while competing at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Gillette, Wyoming last week. The scholarship is based on academics, community involvement, as well as rodeo involvement, and support for the sport of rodeo.

Congratulations Julie! We are very proud of your accomplishments!
