A Cabot High School student has been selected to explore our national's capital on an all-expense paid trip.

Britney McGloflin is one of four students chosen to attend the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. Sponsored by First Electric Cooperative, Britney will have the opportunity to explore Washington D.C., with students from the 16 other Arkansas electric cooperatives.

The group will join 1,500 students from across the country, learn about electric cooperatives, tour historic sites and museums and meet members of the Arkansas Congressional Delegation.

Students were selected based on information provided in an application as well as an interview. The trip will take place June 9-15.
