Hundreds of CHS Students Enjoy Prom and After Prom Party 2017
April 26, 2017
It was a night to remember for hundreds of Cabot High School juniors and seniors. This year's theme for Prom 2017 was, “A Story to Remember.”
Students and staff spent hours transforming the Cabot High School Cafeteria into scenes from your favorite Disney movies: Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel, Snow White, and of course, Cinderella! Students danced the night away.
Ben Cameron and Lexi Robertson were crowned Prom King and Queen.
Afterwards, more than 600 students attended the After Prom Party. The event was free and provides a safe drug-free, alcohol-free alternative on prom night. It was held in the CHS Fieldhouse.
Students had the chance to tackle the Big Baller (from Wipeout), Hillbilly Wipeout, Bubble Soccer, obstacle course and sumo wrestling. There was also a DJ from Alice 107.7 and hypnotist Dr. Jon Taylor. Dr. Taylor hypnotized several students. It was a memorable night for everyone!
Door prizes were given out throughout the evening including, mini refrigerators, microwaves, DVD players, printers, headphones, iPod Nanos, fitbits, laptops, and much, much more! Local restaurants surrounding the Cabot School District also provided free food.
