CMSS Leaves Lasting Impression on 2016 AR Teacher of the Year
January 4, 2017
Meghan Ables, 2016 Arkansas Teacher of the Year, visited Cabot Middle School South back in December and it left quite an impression on her.
In fact, she raves about CMSS in her latest blog post, “Everyone Needs a REAL Panther: Meet Cabot Middle School South.”
During her time at CMSS, Ms. Ables met with staff and visited with a very special group of students. The R.E.A.L. (Respect, Explore, Achieve, Lead) Panther recipients enjoyed sharing all the reasons why they love their school. Ables then visited with other students and staff. She ended her visit speaking to CMSS students at an assembly.
At the conclusion of her blog, Ms. Ables says, “This school blew me away. It reinforced what I believe an exceptional school should look like: student led, individualized, a fun place to be, and a team working towards one vision. This school had REAL learning, REAL engagement, REAL – life lessons, and REAL Panthers with tons of Panther Pride. Thanks for making me a part of it…”
Thank you Ms. Ables for visiting Cabot Middle School South. Click on the link above to read Ms. Ables entire blog about CMSS.
