CMSN Students Have a Blast In Space

May 9, 2016

Cabot Middle School North students recently returned from an out of this world experience.

Two-hundred-fifty-five students, 50 chaperones, and 27 staff members headed to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama April 29-May 1.

Many students had the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and try new and exciting adventures. Some of the highlights included, launching rockets they had constructed, the Multi-Axis Trainer, Space Shot, and G-force; all of which simulated trainings that an astronaut would experience.

The culminating activity was the mission where students took on the roles of astronauts and had to work as a team to complete it successfully.
