Dr. Thurman Gets Sneak Peak at CHS Yearbook

April 22, 2016

Yearbook distribution day is Thursday, April 28, but Superintendent Dr. Thurman was able to get an early sneak peak.

On Friday, staff members presented Dr. Thurman with the first yearbook and he was extremely impressed. The theme is still top secret!

Also, Dr. Thurman had a chance to check out his Superintendent's Page. It focused on his January Lifetouch Memory Mission trip to the Dominican Republic where he helped build an elementary school.

Oriana Montoya won a Superior Award from the Arkansas Scholastic Press Association for the feature.

The Cabot High School yearbook has also been recognized for excellence and featured in the 2016 Jostens Look Book. The Look Book celebrated the best-of-the best in yearbook design and coverage.

The CHS Yearbook was one of only 494 yearbooks selected from approximately 3,000.

Congratulations to CHS Yearbook Advisor Sara Lynn and the 2016 Yearbook staff.

Reminder: Yearbook distribution day is Thursday, April 28. Extra books will be sold on a first come, first serve basis for $60 (cash or check).

2nd period - seniors
3rd period - juniors
5th period - sophomores
