Sports Medicine Meeting for ALL athletes

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We are hosting our annual parent/guardian sports medicine meeting on Monday, July 16th.

• This meeting will be held in the Cabot High School Cafeteria.  
• The meeting will be from 6:00-7:00pm.
• Topics that will be discussed are:  Exertional Heat Illness and Sports Concussions.  

As you are aware, these two topics are making ALL the headlines in ALL the sports media.  The Cabot Public Schools Athletic Training Staff will outline our school district's policies & procedures for dealing with these athletic healthcare concerns.  We will provide you with information, which can be used to help us keep your athlete safe during hot weather practices & competition.  We will also discuss how we diagnosis, manage, and return our athletes back to competition after a sports concussion.    We encourage all of our athletes, cheer/dance, and band members to have a parent/guardian attend this meeting.
