Cabot School District Blood Drive

April 5, 2016

Several Cabot Elementary Schools will be hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross.

It will be held Thursday, April 7 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Central Administrative Office (602 N. Lincoln).

To schedule an appointment, visit redcross.org (Sponsor Code: CSD). Please bring your photo I.D.

You can also use a new tool that allows blood donors to help save lives in less time. It's called Rapid Pass. It allows donors to complete their pre-reading and donation questions online reducing wait time by as much as 15 minutes.

You can walk-in and donate, however, scheduling an appointment online and using the Rapid Pass is highly encouraged to help you save time.

The goal is to collect 45 units. Central, Stagecoach, Southside and Westside Elementary Schools will be hosting this blood drive (South District). Last week, (North District) Eastside, Magness Creek, Mountain Springs, Northside and Ward Central Elementary Schools hosted a blood drive. This is a fun, friendly competition and whichever district collects the most units, they'll receive a party at their school.

March has been an extremely hard month for the Red Cross to collect donations due to all the flooding so come out and donate.

It only takes 30-45 minutes to save a life.
