Cabot Junior Receives Perfect ACT Score
March 30, 2016

Junior Jared Gilliam still has his senior year ahead of him but he already has one less thing to worry about right now. That's because he recently scored a perfect 36 on his ACT.
When the 16-year-old found about it he was relieved. Gilliam took the test on March 1st and was just notified about his perfect score this past weekend. It turns out third time's a charm for Gilliam. He received a 30 on his first test, 35 on his second test and a perfect 36 on his most recent attempt.
Gilliam says his parents and younger brother were extremely excited. He's not sure where he wants to go to college yet but he is interested in MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Gilliam plans on majoring in engineering.
As for his next big challenge, Gilliam says he plans on taking the SAT in May and he hopes to become a National Merit Finalist.
Congratulations Jared Gilliam!
