Three CHS Students’ Artwork Selected For Exhibitions

Congratulations go out to three Cabot High School students.

Michelle Peck, Paige Tacker and Mandy McDaniel's artwork will be displayed at two exhibitions.

Senior Michelle Peck's artwork was selected for the 55th Young Arkansas Artist Exhibition. Out of over 520 submissions, Michelle was selected along with seven others in her grade level. Eight students were chosen for each grade level (K-12).

Michelle's work will be on display at the Arkansas Arts Center May 6 - July 24, 2016. 

Junior Paige Tacker and Sophomore Mandy McDaniel's artworks were selected for the 2016 Governor's Young Artist Competition. Their works will be exhibited at the Governor's Mansion, April 4 - April 29, 2016.

There will be a reception for the winners at the Governor's Mansion Saturday, April 30, 2016, 4-5 p.m. Both the Governor and First Lady will be attending this event. Students, along with their parents, art instructors, principals and superintendents, will be invited to attend.
