At a recent Cabot basketball game, three special recognitions were presented to two faculty members and a CHS team for their outstanding work and dedication.
Coach Carla Crowder, Lady Panthers Basketball Coach, recently earned a victory over the West Memphis Lady Devils and that win was Coach Crowder's 800th victory! We congratulate Coach Crowder for achieving this outstanding milestone in coaching.
Jason Cates, Head Athletic Trainer for Cabot School District, is the founding member of the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) Sports Medicine Advisory Committee and currently serves as its chairman. To salute his involvement in state and national endeavors and accomplishments, the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFSHS) in grateful recognition of service and contribution in support of the AAA and sports medicine initiatives, presented Mr. Cates with the NFHS State Award for Outstanding Service.
