ATLAS Testing Information for Parents
April 10, 2026
As we approach the end of the school year, students across Cabot School District will participate in the ATLAS (Arkansas Teaching & Learning Assessment System) - Arkansas’s statewide assessment designed to measure student learning and growth.
What is ATLAS Testing?
ATLAS is given each spring to help ensure students are meeting the Arkansas State Standards and progressing academically.
- Kindergarten – 2nd Grade: Literacy and Math
- 3rd – 10th Grade: English Language Arts/Writing (ELA), Math, and Science
(Note: There is no 9th grade science test) - 7th–10th Grade End Of Course Exams
Students enrolled in Algebra I, Geometry, or Biology will test in these areas
Per state requirements, all students are expected to participate unless they qualify for an alternate assessment.
When Does Testing Begin?
ATLAS testing in the Cabot School District begins April 13, 2026.
Each school will provide specific schedules and details, so be sure to watch for communication from your child’s campus. Some schools will not begin testing until later in April.
How Can Parents Help?
A little preparation goes a long way! Help your child feel confident and ready by:
- Ensuring they get a good night’s sleep
- Making sure they arrive at school on time
- Charging their Chromebook the night before (if applicable)
Accessing Your Child’s Results
Parents can view their child’s testing results through the student portal.
- Portal access codes were shared at the beginning of the school year and again before spring break
- Good news: Results will be available sooner than in previous years
If you need your portal code again, please email: pam.waymack@cps.k12.ar.us
Be sure to include:
- Your child’s full name
- School
- Date of birth
- Send the request from the email address on file with the district
