Steel Magnolias: Oct. 25 & Nov. 1

Cabot High School Theatre is proud to present Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling.  

You will be transported to the year 1987 to Truvy's Hair Salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana. From the small town gossip to laugh out loud dialogue, the play is alternately hilarious and touching.  

Also, for the first time ever, students designed and built the set for the production. Students drafted floor plans and renderings before deciding on a final design and digitally drafting it in Google Sketch Up. Students cut every board, primed every surface and turned plywood into hardwood with faux painting techniques. They even built a tree out of branches and 2x4's.

During intermission there will also be a treat. The cast looks forward to sharing their southern hospitality with punch and petit fours during intermission for dessert theatre.
