Cabot Middle School South celebrated an incredible 30 years with a special event, marking the occasion with the dedication of its brand-new outdoor amphitheater - a space designed to inspire generations of readers.

In a heartfelt surprise, the amphitheater was named in honor of longtime literacy teacher Teresa Adams, recognizing her dedication and impact on students over the years.

Mrs. Adams has been with Cabot Public Schools for 34 years. In 2020, she was named Cabot Public Schools Teacher of the Year, Mid-Level Teacher of the Year, and Cabot Middle School South’s Teacher of the Year. She was also selected as one of the Top 12 regional finalists for the 2020 Arkansas Teacher of the Year.

Following the ceremony, a special reception was held in the media center, giving former staff members and guests the opportunity to reconnect and celebrate the legacy of CMSS.

A special thank you to Pinnacle Structures for donating the materials for the amphitheater and to Cabot Middle School South’s PTO for funding its construction. Appreciation also goes to Jimmy Bayles for his work in bringing this project to life.
