Miles Duarte, CMSN

Miles has a servant's heart! Principal Micah House says, "He is always outgoing, kind, and willing. Everyday, Miles helps us clean up the cafeteria with a smile on his face. He works hard on academics and even more so on making a difference on our campus. We are so proud of him!"

PLC Building Recognition
Oriana Montoya, CMSN

Ms. Montoya has been teaching Literacy and Social Studies and CMSN for three years, but you would think she had been doing it for 10 years. She is a natural in the classroom. Kids always come first for her and she seeks out ways to make our school better for the students we serve. We are so grateful for her!

Student Spotlight
Samantha Umphenour, CJHS

Samantha's teachers describe her as persistent, genuine, proactive, helpful and kind. One teacher describes her as a balcony student. A student that lifts others up to her. She works well with all students but her loving nature with our students that have different abilities is second to none.

PLC Building Recognition
Ashley Hancock, CJHS

Mrs. Hancock is a Cabot alumni. When Principal Charlotte Sandage came to South she was teaching science. She asked to be moved to her first love which is math.

Mrs. Hancock is teaching 7th grade honors and 8th grade regular. Mrs. Hancock is also the PLC lead for 8th grade and drive the data discussion from a perspective that they are all our kids. She has been instrumental in developing the math ICU intervention for students. She is loved and respected by all staff and students.
