New CHS Bell Schedule 2024-2025

Cabot High School has announced the implementation of a new bell schedule, aligning it with the schedules of Junior South, Junior North, and Freshman Academy. This change comes as part of our ongoing efforts to optimize instructional time for all students and ensure consistency of instructional minutes.

As you may remember, we recently transitioned to a calendar based on instructional minutes rather than instructional days. This shift allows us to accumulate minutes for unexpected closures, such as inclement weather, without compromising instructional time. By adopting this format, we must guarantee access for all students to the instructional minutes by ensuring they take place during the instructional day.

Although Zero Hour was popular with students, decisions are based on what is best for all students. We understand that the transition may cause concerns regarding traffic. Initially, there will be congestion. However, we ask for your patience as traffic patterns improve.
