Cabot Scholarship Foundation Awards  Nearly $150,000 To Seniors

WOW! The Cabot Scholarship Foundation has done it again! It was another record-setting assembly. The Foundation awarded a record 136 local scholarships totaling $149,300 Tuesday night! Scholarships are provided by community members, businesses, and even Cabot School District employees.

In fact, district employees funded 22 scholarships worth a total of $22,000! The Cabot Panther Foundation awarded 12 scholarships worth a total of $12,000! Scholarships are for seniors planning to attend two and four year colleges, technical schools, and vocational schools.

The Foundation was established in 1990 with its first $1,000 Cabot Centennial Scholarship. Since then, they have awarded 1,817 scholarships for a GRAND TOTAL of $1,924,750.00! That's nearly 2 MILLION DOLLARS!
