Cabot Sweeps Lonoke County Spelling Bee 2024

It was an a-m-a-z-i-n-g night for our Cabot School District students! The Lonoke County Spelling Bee was held January 25, 2024 in Lonoke. After five rounds, all six of our Cabot students were the only ones left remaining in the competition.

Congratulations to Cabot Junior High South 7th grade student Kaylee Oles for capturing 1st place! After 18 rounds, she was crowned champion by spelling "centrifuge" correctly.

CJHS 8th grade student Korben Wainwright, who placed first in the district spelling bee, place 2nd in the county bee.

Maylee Lemons, a 5th grade student at Cabot Middle School South, placed 3rd.

Kaylee will represent Cabot in the State Spelling Bee which will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Vines Center located at 1 Four-H Way in Little Rock.
