Student Community Service Hours - Update

August 23, 2023

Please click HERE for the latest update to this story.

The Cabot Public School district recognizes that as part of the LEARNS Act of 2023, beginning with this year’s freshman class (Class of 2027), a student must earn 75 hours of community service while in grades 9-12.

However, the state has not yet issued rules or guidelines for implementing that requirement in our schools. Even so, our district is working to ensure students meet the needed graduation requirements while enrolled in our schools.

Information will be shared with students and families as it is developed.
