CHS Graduation Information 2024

The Cabot School District is excited to announce plans for Graduation 2024. Due to an overwhelming positive response from last year, the Cabot Board of Education has made the decision that graduation will remain on the Cabot High School campus.

Graduation has been scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Panther Arena. Exact details on which ceremony students will attend will be released at a later date.

At graduation practice, students will receive eight (8) tickets for family and friends to attend their ceremony. Overflow seating for additional guests will be available in the CHS Fine Arts Auditorium. The event will also be streamed live online. The CHS Courtyard will be available after each ceremony for students and family to visit and take pictures.

10:00 AM

Ceremony 2:
2:00 PM

Ceremony 3:
5:00 PM

LINE 89 and graduation practice will be held Friday morning, May 17, 2024.

Last year was the first time since 2002 that students graduated on campus. It was moved to Panther Arena after severe weather canceled graduation at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Prior to War Memorial Stadium, Cabot High School graduation was always held at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock until 2022 when the facility decided to no longer host graduation ceremonies.

As previously shared, the district has researched and considered all the pros and cons of multiple indoor and outdoor facilities.

Following the success of last year’s graduation ceremonies at Panther Arena, the Cabot School District is happy to be able to celebrate our graduating Panthers here at home. Some of the feedback District administration and Cabot School Board members received from families included: shorter graduation time (each ceremony is estimated at 90 minutes), avoiding driving late at night through traffic, fewer concerns about the weather, closer access to and better viewing opportunity of the graduates, family-friendly and safer atmosphere, ability to celebrate in the courtyard with family and friends afterwards, etc.
