Cabot Parks & Rec Event Brings In Huge Donation for Cabot Kids 2022

“Cabot's Celebrate The Season” was a huge success for Cabot Parks & Recreation with record-breaking attendance and the largest amount of food donations collected to date. The event brought in $27,000 worth of food for our students and families.

During the December event, Cabot Parks and Recreation collected non-perishable food items. Sponsors Cabot Emergency Hospital, FAB&T, Red River Auto Group and Edge Realty each donated $500 worth of non-perishable food items to jump-start the food drive. Shoppers who donated three non-perishable food items also got into the event for free.

The items filled up several vehicles and will be distributed to families and students through the Cabot Christmas Alliance and Backpack programs.

Thank you to everyone in the community and to Cabot Parks and Recreation for donating these much needed food items to our Cabot families.
