2022 Fall College Signings: 9 Student-Athletes

Family and friends recently attended our fall college signing ceremony at Cabot High School Panther Arena where we celebrated nine student-athletes.
Congratulations to Akayla Barnard (South Dakota State University – Softball), Emma Scales (Ouachita Baptist – Softball), Easton Denney (UCA – Golf), Emmerson Doyle (Missouri Southern – Golf), Collin Olivi (ASU-Mountain Home – Baseball), Colin Davis (ASU-Mountain Home – Baseball), Landon Evans (UA-Rich Mountain – Baseball), Megan Moudy (UCA – Soccer), and Jenna DeLaMater (St. Louis University – Volleyball).
Our first signee was Akayla Barnard. Akayla will play softball at South Dakota State University. As a sophomore Akayla made All-Conference, All-State and was named Defensive Player of the Year. As a junior, she made All-Conference, All-State, All-State Tournament Team, and was the Offensive Player of the Year. Akayla plans to major in K-3rd Education and she said she fell in love with the teaching program at SDSU. She is ready to start this new chapter in her life and is excited for her new team.


Emma Scales will play softball at Ouachita Baptist University. Emma plans on majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Theology and Chemistry. She would like to go to medical school with the hopes of doing international medical missions. When visiting OBU, she said not only was it the best fit for her academically and athletically but also spiritually. Emma is ready for this new challenge in her life and hopes to soar at her new opportunity.


Golf signee Easton Denney plans on attending the University of Central Arkansas next fall. Throughout high school Easton has made All-Conference (2020 & 2022), All-State (2020 & 2022), was named the 2022 6A Individual State Medalist and finished second (score of 74) in the 2022 ASGA Overall Tournament. Easton would like to study Business and Marketing with hopes of pursuing a professional golf career after college.


Emmerson Doyle will play golf at Missouri Southern University. Emmerson has made All-Conference (2019, 2020, & 2022), All-State (2019, 2020 & 2022), was named the 2022 6A Individual State Medalist and finished fifth place (score of 82) in the 2022 ASGA Overall Tournament.


Collin Olivi will play baseball at ASU-Mountain Home next fall. Collin said he felt welcome and at home at Mountain Home and is looking forward to working with his new coach and team. Collin was All-Conference at Cabot and plans to major in Science at college.


Colin Davis will also be attending ASU-Mountain Home to play baseball next fall. Colin said he is looking forward to playing for Coach Adcock and plans on majoring in Criminology.


Landon Evans was our third baseball signee of the day and he plans on attending UA-Rich Mountain next fall. He is looking forward to this next chapter and challenges with pursuing his academic and athletic career. While at Rich Mountain, Landon plans on majoring in Wildlife Biology.


Megan Moudy will attend the University of Central Arkansas to play soccer. While playing soccer at Cabot, Megan was team captain and made All-State in 2022. She said she felt right at home when choosing UCA and already felt like part of the team there. Megan will study Exercise Science or Nursing with hopes of becoming a nurse or dietitian one day.


Our final signee of the day was Jenna DeLaMater. Jenna will attend St. Louis University to play volleyball. Jenna is a two-time 6A All-Conference recipient, and was awarded the 6A All-State Team and 6A All-State this season for volleyball. Jenna plans to major in Exercise Science in the physical therapy program at St. Louis. Next year, Jenna is looking forward experiencing a new city and getting to learn from her coaching staff and teammates while focusing more on exercise science.
