Unity Health Donates $27,000 To Cabot Elementary Schools

Thank you to Unity Health for awarding each of our nine Cabot elementary schools with a $3,000 grant for completing the Unity Kids program. That's a total of $27,000!

The Unity Kids mission is to educate children in our local schools on how to make healthy choices. All Cabot K-4 Physical Education teachers participated in the program. Students in 3rd grade read health tip cards provided by Unity Health each day in P.E. class and students received a free Unity Health t-shirt.

Teachers also displayed "Health Centered" posters around the building with tips for living a healthier life. The culminating activity included 3rd grade students writing an essay explaining what they learned in class and how they will live a healthier life.
