January School Board Recognition 2022

January 21, 2022

Cabot Public Schools is proud to honor our dedicated Cabot School Board members during Arkansas School Board Recognition Month.

This month-long observance, which is held every January, is the perfect time to show our appreciation to our board members who volunteer their time to ensure the success of our students. It is also an excellent opportunity for the Cabot School District and the community to build a stronger understanding of the crucial role school boards play.

As part of Arkansas School Board Recognition Month, our Cabot High School AFJROTC cadets presented our Cabot School Board members with their very own Challenge Coins!

Pam Clem and cadet

The coins have a Cabot Panther on the front and a C-130 on the back along with a serial number that identifies the owner. Board members were asked to select a number that may be significant or special to them and they were given that coin.

Challenge coins are essentially small medallions that signify a person’s membership in a certain organization like the military. They are very symbolic and meaningful to those that have received them. Board members were also presented with the new CHS AFJROTC shirts.
