LRAFB Airmen Volunteer at Cabot Learning Academy
July 22, 2015
Nearly 20 Airmen from Little Rock Air Force Base volunteered their time Wednesday to give the Cabot Learning Academy a fresh look. The Airmen spent all day painting the multi-purpose room, curriculum, counseling office and two lobby areas.
Principal Joanne Blalock says she's grateful for the volunteers. The rooms had a darker paint on them before and she says the lighter color definitely gives the school a new look for incoming students.
SSgt Michael Richardson says they enjoy volunteering and making a difference. Some of the airmen have children in the Cabot School District and say they're happy to help out.
