CPA Automated Message: ACT/PreACT Testing – 2/26/26

February 17, 2026

To: Panther Academy Parents & Staff

Subject: ACT/PreACT Testing – Thursday, February 26, 2026

This is an automated message from the Cabot School District to parents of Panther Academy students.

Parents and guardians, Thursday, February 26th, is a big day at Panther Academy. All juniors will take the ACT unless they previously requested another test, while sophomores who opted in will be taking the PreACT. Only students' testing will be on campus this day. Seniors are encouraged to use this day to focus on Next Steps. This is a great day to job shadow or schedule college or trade school visits. All other students are expected to work from home.

Students will report to testing rooms at 8:00 a.m. Students will be required to remain on campus until testing is finished at approximately 12:30 p.m. It is important for students to arrive on time with their charged, school-issued device.

Juniors will automatically be signed up for the ACT. Part of the process includes students creating a MyACT account. This website allows students to provide non-test information, including optional questions they are encouraged to complete to receive score report details that support college and career planning, such as suggested college majors and occupations to consider. Students will also select colleges to which they would like to send free score reports. If not entered at this time, students will need to pay the ACT fee to have score reports sent. If you do not want your student to create a MyACT account, please contact Panther Academy prior to the test.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Panther Academy at 501-743-3520.
